Mangalore: Students Get Inspired at CAP-Cell Motivational Camp

Mangalore, Feb 18: A motivational programme was held by Career Advancement Programme (CAP)-Cell, under Canara Organization for Development Programmes (CODP) recently for CAP students who had taken part in CAP-Quiz held in December 2007 and in February 2008.

Raymond D’Cunha, editor of ‘Pingara’ Kannada weekly and an active office bearer of Catholic Sabha, in his inaugural address said, 'Our community children should be empowered physically, financially and in every other respect to help them make their mark in the future”.  

Patrick Braggs, retired engineer from Bejai who was the resource person offered insight into how emotions inspire us to achieve milestones in life.  

Francis D’Cunha, teacher at St Joseph’s High School, Pejar and recipient of ‘Sandesha’ award provided information on how to gain knowledge in order to score high marks in exams. 

Prof Steven Quadros, lecturer of University College and Mangalore Diocesan Pastoral Council secretary provided information on the facilities entitled to government servants.  

Fr Onil D’Souza, director of CODP wished the participants. Around 46 students attended the motivational camp.
