Max Mendes
Canara Kala Saanz was the ingenious idea of Maxim Mendes of Max Mendes Group who sought to establish a platform for Mangaloreans to maintain their cultural ties with their homeland. This idea is fully supported by talented Canadian Mangaloreans. The successful organizing of Wilfy Nite in October 2005 and successive shows of KALA SAANZ gave Mangaloreans in Canada an opportunity to revive, participate, cherish and focus on the rich heritage of our culture.
The evening will be packed with entertainment ranging from songs, jokes and dances. The live music for the evening is provided by Casual Encounter. In addition there will be a short comedy play ‘Khobrancho Parinam’ written by Melvyn Pernal. This play is directed and played by the hero of the famous movie “Mog ani Maipas” Oswald Sequeira.
