Syndicate Bank Holds Customers’ Meet At Kankanady Branch

Mangalore, Feb 24: Kankanady branch of the Syndicate Bank organized a customers’ meet here on Saturday, Feb. 23 evening. Retired officer and esteemed  customer of the bank A B Shamsundar was the chief guest on the occasion. In his speech, he appreciated the service given by Syndicate Bank.
 
K U Shanbhag, Deputy General Manager (DGM) of the Mangalore Regional Office, presided over the function. In his speech, he noted, Syndicate Bank is the first bank to introduce agricultural lending in this region as also pygmy collection for the first time.





He also informed that the bank is going to have a demat account facility shortly. Meanwhile, H R Bhat, chief manager of the bank, briefed about the various schemes of the bank. He informed that, more than 1900 branches have been brought under core banking system and a customer of one bank is a customer of all the 1900 banks, he added.
 
Abdul Razak, Assistant General Manager (AGM) of Syndicate Bank was present on this occasion. Meanwhile, customers of the bank Flavy Mathias and Navin were felicitated at the function.
 
Shaila Bhat invoked blessing. Jayaram Puninchitaya proposed the vote of thanks. Molly D’Almeida compered the programme.
