Mumbai, Feb 28: A major fire broke out in Asia's largest slum area 'Dharavi', here on Wednesday.

Fire brigade sources said, a fire broke out in a plastic factory at Ankitnagar, Dharavi, in north central part of the city at around 3:45 am.

Eight fire engines and seven water tankers took two hours to bring the fire under control, sources said.

No casualty has been reported so far, sources added but about 50-60 huts were said to have been burnt in the fire.
