Don't single out Rahul for loss: Singhvi

New Delhi, Mar 11 (IANS): Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Saturday said party Vice President Rahul Gandhi should not be singled out for the party's poor showing in Uttar Pradesh.

"If these (counting) trends persist, why single out Rahul Gandhi? He will of course take the bullet in his chest," Singhvi told NDTV news channel.

The Bharatiya Janata Party surged ahead towards victory as millions of votes polled in the staggered assembly elections were counted in the country's most populous state.

You are right Diggs, we should not single out and corner Raul baba but collectively corner real estate broker wadaari and Priyanka also for this debacle. In fact people knew the result of election once Diggs the veteran announced that Priyanka will no longer canvas in UP in an effort to save the face of the princess and its embattled soldiers for another war.

Everyone is bothered about UP, Think in larger perspective; Congress has done well in three states out of the five. It has emerged has the single largest party in Manipur and GOA, In Punjab it has come to power with full majority. I urge the Congress supporters not to lose hope. This result is not bad when comparing to May-2014 wherein BJP has done well in all the states. Congress will do much better in 2019.

@kas- suppose if congress forms government in Goa, can siddu government speak with Goa and solve mahadayi issue?

I don't think so. Because when it comes to water issue, your congress people in Goa go against Karnataka. I am sure about it.

I think that was not part agenda.
    So they never promised it...
Deciding fake or genuine doesn't arises.

If they do it just like demonetization it will be great..

BJP Manifest clearly states Ram Temple will be built in UP once there is a supreme court order... why are you behind temple which had no focus in UP this time...

In another comment you pinned hope on UP Assembly to solve this issue .... Here you admit that "Temple is a distant dream now. Nobody wants to do that complex task." BJP will keep this issue for another 20 years for vote bank, while blaming others of vote bank policy

There is no vote bank ...
It was not their agenda for that UP election.
Only my personal opinion that both center and state government are of same party so it is easy to implement....
