Mandya: BJP member threatens suicide if Ramya inducted into party

Mandya, Mar 15: A BJP member has threatened that he would commit suicide if present Congress leader and former MP Ramya is inducted into the party.

C T Manjunath is the person who has come up with this statement. He is a local BJP member from Mandya.

Manjunath has sent an email to state BJP president Yeddyurappa which reads, “Ramya had made a statement saying BJP and RSS activists were not involved in independence movement of India. The same Ramya also visited enemy nation Pakistan and called it a heaven. If she is inducted into BJP, I will consume poison in front of state BJP office.”


Ramya’s political mentor S M Krishna has already decided to join BJP. There are rumours that Ramya will also follow suit. She has been keeping a low profile for the past 5 months.

    Everyone has the right to join the political Party of his choice.whats the threat here?Because one threatens and consume poison,he harms his Family and self.Should the threat be taken serious?and not take the Person in their Party.?Does he fears of her presence?Voters know to throw her out if she goes out of her way.He must instead Show the right way how one can win People and Party members,not with threat.

    There are enough actors in BJP drama company that Ramya has no role other than 'Khalnayak' for opposing party views.
    Poor BJP's troll army is forced to eat their words and can't accept Ramya they abused tagging her as 'anti national' day in and out.

    His surprise visit to pak is an effort to establish good relation , there is no harm in it. unlike MMS he doesnot need ask soniya for that. He tried positively. when he saw the response of pak, he dared to do surgical strike whcih you people dont accpet.

    As per Indian law, Manjunatha can be arrested and put inside the jail for his remark in writing? Police also playing politics?
    Again I don't understand the logic of ruling party politician calling opposition party politician to Dharmasthala to settle the issue!

    First of all there was nothing called RSS and BJP during Independence Movement... There are so many people who where part of independence struggle who later joined BJP and RSS once it was formed..

    As per Gandhiji congress should have been dissolved once India got Independence and lets assume so... Now tell me what is the role of current congress for Independence of India and its freedom struggle

    BJP party lost its credit and are ready to embrace any dead woods of other parties.
    If you look back now BJP filled with all old corrupt congress leaders. Soon after SM Krishna's Tenure BJP secured more MLA's due to his shortfalls. This yeddy highlighted SM\s failure and gained 79 seats now he is praising him. Ramya will join sooner or later to please SMK.
    Please do not take extreme step Mr. Manjunath politics is like that. No morality or principle existing anymore. The real BJP hijacked long back we could feel the pain of real BJP who fought against congress in the past. Enjoy the power Yeddi is power hungry, BJP needs skilled congress leader to manage corruption. Previous BJP government led by Yeddi had no skills manage corruption so failed miserably. Now BJP leaders learned how to manage corruption. Their caption mastered the skills.
    Congress or BJP they the either side of same coin.

    Why BJP member C.T. Manjunath has been kept in the party, who has threatened that he would commit suicide if present Congress leader and former MP Ramya is inducted into the party. This is really detrimental not only for the party even for the nation.... Do we need such leaders to lead the country?

    For such a trivial reason, he wants to commit suicide.... Where we are heading?
