Warm Friday morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Mar 24 (IANS): It was a warm morning in Delhi on Friday with the minimum temperature recorded at 21 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average, about three degrees more than Thursday's minimum.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, weather office said.

"The morning was marked with a partly cloudy sky," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 71 per cent and rain nil.

Thursday saw the warmest March 23 in past six years as the maximum temperature settled at 37.4 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 18.4 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
