Hottest morning on Wednesday in Delhi


New Delhi, Mar 29 (IANS): It was the hottest morning here on Wednesday with the minimum temperature recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius, the highest this year at five notches above the season's average.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 22 degrees Celsius.

"The sky was clear in the morning with no chances of rain so far," an India Meteorological Department official said.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 59 per cent.

Tuesday's maximum temperature settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average. The minimum temperature was 21.8 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average.
