Dubai: Cricketer Sreesanth Initiates Social Responsability Projects

Dubai, March 12: Indian cricketer Sreesanth initiated social responsability projects of Snowhite the Gulf's largest men's wear showroom chain by visiting Aweer Jail in Dubai
Announcing this in a press conference, Hiroo D. Vassanani, Managing Dorector, along with chairman Abdel Sahib Shaban Sajwani of Snowhite Garments said that Indian cricketer Srisanth distributed on behalf of Snowhite , more than 50 airticket to various destination in India on Wednesday, March 12, 2008. The tickets were given to deserving prisoners at the Aweer Jail in the presence of jail officials, dignitaries from Indian Consulate and from KYCC.
"As a business house we have a strong responsability to the society. We belive that we have to give back something to the society that has helped us to reach this position. We found out that there are quite a lot of prisoners who are unable to go home inspite of completing their prioson sentences due to their inability to get the return air ticket. Most of them are in such a pathetic condition that we thought it is only fit and proper that we should help them out" said Hiroo.
Sreesanth also expressed his happiness in associating with Snowhite on this noble venture "All of us have role to play in the society that we live in. We cannot walk away from our responsabilities. For most of us, the urge to do something stay within our heart. It is difficult to take the first step. hence it is really heartening to note that Hiroo has actually gone ahead and done something for the underprivileged. When I was contacted for this noble task, I had no hesitation in accepting the invitation" he added.
