Alleged EVM tampering: Oppn parties to meet EC

New Delhi, Apr 10 (PTI): Opposition parties today decided to take up unitedly with the EC the issue of alleged EVM tampering in elections held in various states recently. Leaders of various opposition parties today met in Parliament and decided to jointly meet the Election Commission, demanding that their concerns on the issue be addressed.

The opposition leaders are demanding that VVPAT (paper trail of voting) be introduced in all future elections. The Congress has also been pushing for use of ballot papers instead of EVMs in upcoming elections in view of the alleged tampering. The parties are demanding that the EC dispel the apprehensions they have and reassure the people of the country and voters on the serious issue.

The opposition parties observed that free and fair elections are the basic founding blocks on which the entire edifice of country has been maintained. "Any erosion of these basic principles which sustain this edifice needs to be addressed forthwith and in the right earnest," said a leader.

Among those present at today's strategy meeting held at Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad's chamber in Parliament included Congress leaders Ahmed Patel, Anand Sharma, Kapil Sibal and Vivek Tankha, besides JDU leader Ali Anwar Ansari, TMC leader Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, BSP leader Satish Misra and SP leader Neeraj Shekhar.

NCP leader Majeed Memon, CPI leader D Raja and RJD leader J P Narain Yadav were also present during the meeting and all decided to strongly raise the issue with the EC.

EVM's have been tampered for sure . MP in the bye election the paper trail was shoing Bjp for all SP votes pressed . This prooves that EVM can be tampered with if if there was a malfuntion in the mc which was tested for bye election we can give EC the benefit of doubt . But when all SP/DM and other key officials were transferred without any reason which shows daal me kuch kaala hey boss.
To top it up one EC official was transferred to MP from hyderabad to investigate the same and what a shocking revelation ...the official says that the machine has come from lucknow and data was not erased so this prooves all SP votes have gone to BJP in Lucknow and this is what the EC official revelaed without knowing that he is revealing a truth so EVM have been selectively rigged no doubt about it so FBI or some global agency should investigate along with CBI.

United opposition but their claims with EC will be divided something like this.
In Delhi Assembly polls : Congress will allege EVM tampering but AAP will oppose it claiming EVMS are perfect and just reflected peoples mandate.
In Maharashtra polls : United Opp will claim EVM tampering because unitedly they ate dust.
In Bengal polls : CPM & Congress will claim EVM tampering, TMC will trade inblows with the dongis and comis counter claiming EVMS are perfect.
In Bihar polls : Maha ghtaiya Bandhan will claim, all is well EVMs were perfect.
In Kerala Polls : UDF will claim EVM tampering, LDF will go on a killing spree as usual claiming EVMS are perfect.
In Punjab polls: AAP will claim EVM tampered, and congress will counter claim, Kujliwal is Psyco, EVM is all well.
In Goa : AAp will make biggest noise of EVM tampering as their internal suvey gave them massive mandate and EVM gave them zero. Congress will simply sit quite thinking “kaige bandha thutthu baaige barlilla.
In Manipur: Cogress may allehe EVM tampering.
In UP: United opposition will allege EVM tampering as ll ate dust. Mani shanker iyer will also include entire Pakistan political parties like PML, PPP, PTEF, ANP, JEP etc in alleging EVM tampering.

Tight slap is on Puppu and their supporters. No one votes for that useless LOOT-LOOT party. The opposition is still in a shock with BJP's win in UP, they know they will be wiped out soon. Let there be re-election in Punjab. Even if Paper ballots are introduced, nothing will change. The days of fooling the people are over

    Mr Ganesh/Henry,

Those who are now crying that EVM are tampared or pampred!!are nothing but cowards.
Are they opposed Delhi Assembly election result which held some time back?basing on EVM Machines??
Are they opposed recent Punjab Assembly election result?? based on EVM??
They are nothing but jokers? who can't rule the country with dignity, without corruption, and unbiased manner.
Who cares for their cry dudes? no problem let them bring old system of ballot papers or let them eat their food by mud plates, and cover their body by leaves!! as it is very healthy and clothes may be not suiting them in present time.
