NDA to fight 2019 Lok Sabha polls under Modi's leadership

New Delhi, April 11 (IANS): The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) on Monday passed a resolution to fight 2019 Lok Sabha elections under leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sources said.

"To continue with the development and poor welfare programs, NDA urges the citizens of the country to be determined to give huge majority to NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019," the resolution said.

Earlier, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, who attended the meeting at the Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra at Chanakyapuri in New Delhi's diplomatic enclave said, "The NDA leaders decided to work together to succeed in 2019 Lok Sabha elections under Modi's leadership."

"Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan made the proposal for fighting Lok Sabha election under Modi and it was accepted unanimously," the BJP leader added.

The NDA meeting was attended by 33 parties including Shiv Sena and Akali Dal but there was no discussion on the upcoming presidential or vice presidential elections.

Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thakrey and Akali Dal's Prakash Singh Badal represented their parties.

Addressing the media, Financial Minister Arun Jaitley said the NDA meeting endorsed the policies of the government specially its "pro-poor policy".

"Despite the bad shape of economy, the government did a good job and headed towards development. There was not a single corruption charge against the government in its last three years' reign," he said.

The minister also said that new allies have joined NDA and this is the symbol of this government's popularity.

Asked if there was any discussion about the presidential elections, the minister categorically denied it, saying "No".

Speaking on relationship with Shiv Sena, Jaitley said, "Shiv Sena is the oldest BJP ally. At times some issues come when they don't agree but Uddhavji today attended the meeting and he was positive."

The NDA also hailed Modi for BJP's stunning victory in recent assembly polls.

"The BJP's victory in recent assembly polls is a mandate on pro poor policies and public welfare schemes of NDA government. The results established Modi as most popular Prime Minister of the country after independence," the statement said.

TDP Chief and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that India needs a stable government for sustainable development.

"India is only economy which can achieve double digit growth. Even China can't. This is possible only under Modi's leadership. Sustainability will come with stable government," he said.

WHEN WE WERE ON A WRONG PATH FIRST OF ALL WE HAVE TO SLOW DOWN AND PUT A BREAK SO THAT WE CAN TAKE RIGHT PATH LIKE U TURN WHICH CANNOT HAPPEN IN A DAY OR TWO. WHEN MODI BECAME PM IN MAY-2014 LPG CYLINDER PRICE WAS AT RS.950=00 WITH 9 CYLINDERS A YEAR. NOW AFTER THREE YEARS OR SO IT IS BELOW RS.800=00 WITH NO SUCH RESTRICTIONS. WE CAN SPEAK ABOUT CRUDE OIL PRICE BUT CRUDE OIL PRICE IS ALWAYS FLUCTUATING BUT IN THE PAST 10YEARS GOVT. WAS NOT READY TO PASS ON THE BENEFITS TO CONSUMERS WITH A SUBSIDY AMOUNT OF ALMOST 50%. NOW MODI HAS NARROWED THE SUBSIDY MARGIN THEREBY REDUCING LEVY'S TO THAT EXTENT WHICH IS A GOOD SIGN THAT IS CRORES OF CONSUMERS GAVE UP THE SUBSIDY VOLUNTARILY.

Unlike PM Modi UP CM Yogi is bachelor he is also B.Sc. (Mathematics)
    graduate(genuine degree).
He is also five time MP and youngest MP representative than PM Modi.

PM Modi has only talked about 'Pink revolution' in 2014 election and made India No.1 'beef exporter'. But Yogi has proved it that he can be better administrator.

Let's Yogi be the choice for PM.

BJP currently governs over 13 states of which 8 have chief ministers with RSS background and 5 have chief ministers with no RSS background. This means 60% of BJP governed states have a chief minister who was formerly a member of RSS.
RSS equal to ISIS, So please think before the vote this is very dangerous to India instead of development, it will go another way.

Need of the hour is to announce the face of the grand old party to Voters right now, if elected by people to rule. I think tie-up with AAP and Projecting Kejriwaal, or Jyothiradya Scindia or Sachin Pilot as future PM may do magic. Or else Grand old Party will lose Party leaders and voters.

    Let anybody rule:-
But life of the people should improve.
Law and order in the country should improve not deteriorate
Inflation rate should be in control.
Taxes should be reasonable and minimal. Compliance and transparency should be good, specially among ruling class.
    Natural justice should prevail.
Cleanliness / hygiene should improve. Clean Air and water should be top priority.
There should be scope and prospect for healthy growth. Inclusive growth.
Those who are good in providing all the above should get scope to rule.

Prabhuji, I am voter to BJP just like you . I am sure India as a whole has benefitted out of schemes from Modi. many things cannot be measured monetarily. because of a parallel cash economy, a drive towards more clean economy will have its share of initial pitfalls. many business which are dependent on cash will face shutdown. some will lose employment.. this is a transition period for migration and lot of the policies are investment into future. business will adapt and migrate to newer areas. change will take its time. election rhetorics compells every party to play the game of tall promises.
