9-year-old girl including 5 others attacked by cow vigilanties in Kashmir


Srinagar, Apr 22 (Agencies): A 9 year old girl including 5 others were beaten up by self proclaimed cow vigilanties in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place on Friday evening when a nomad family was moving their livestock. 

The familywas attacked by a large group of gau rakshaks and were beaten up with iron rods. Police have registered an FIR and identified five suspects. 

The victims said the attackers took away their entire livestock including goats, sheep, and cows. The injured, 9-year-old Sammi, have suffered multiple fractures have been shifted to hospital.
