Old Goa, Mar 21: The procession of Black Caps, one of the rarest in the world was observed and celebrated on Good Friday in the Se Cathedral church at Old Goa. The procession of Black caps is also known as Procession of Tails and the same is locally known as 'Xepdeanchem Pursao'. The mass and the procession proceeding was headed by the Goa, Daman and Diu Archbishop Rev Filipe Neri Ferrao in the presence of 3 canons (The retired priests also known as the black caps).










The procession of Black Caps is held at only two places in the world, one in Goa and the other in the Vatican city. Goa was the frist to start the procession followed by the Vatican city.
