Mangalore, Mar 27: The silver jubilee celebrations of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi district beedi contractors association will be held on Sunday March 30 at Karnad Sadashiv Rao Memorial building auditorium, Light House Hill here

This was revealed by J Ibrahim, chief secretary of the association, while speaking to media persons here on Thursday March 27.

The annual general body meeting of the association will be held to elect the new office bearers of managing committee, ahead of silver jubilee celebrations, Ibrahim added.

Other office bearers of the association were present at the press conference.
