Without helmet, Rahul Gandhi violates rules

Jaipur/New Delhi, Jun 9 (DHNS): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and party MLA from Rajasthan, Dheeraj Gujjar, were spotted riding a bike without helmets, a clear violation of the traffic rules.

The Rajasthan Police is examining the issue after people on social media pointed out a photograph in which Rahul is seen riding pillion without a helmet.

“Rahul Gandhi travelled a few kilometres as a pillion rider on a motorcycle from Nimbaheda in Rajasthan up to the Madhya Pradesh border. Even a pillion rider in Rajasthan has to wear a helmet... we will look into the traffic violations,” said Superintendant of Police,?Chittorgarh, Prasanna Khamesra.

Meanwhile, the BJP on Thursday described Rahul’s Mandsaur visit as a “photo opportunity”, and accused the Opposition of “fueling violence” under the garb of farmers protests that had spread to others parts of Madhya Pradesh.

‘Cong politicising issue’

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh also said in Mumbai that the issue of some forces stoking the agitation at Mandsaur was under investigation.

“It is unfortunate that the Congress is politicising the issue. It is instigating and fuelling violence. Its vice president now wants to visit the place as part of his photo opportunity yatra, which he undertakes on a regular basis,” Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said.

The Congress vice president was arrested as he tried to reach Mandsaur district, which is on fire after five people were shot dead by local police.

Dismissing the Opposition’s demand for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s resignation over the Mandsaur violence, Naidu recalled two dozen farmers had died in police firing in Betul district on January 12, 1998, when Congress leader Digvijay Singh was the chief minister. But Singh never resigned, Naidu added.

As the Vice President of Indian National Congress, he should have shown much more respect to the Law of the Land.
But most of the Political Party workers as well as Leaders show the same attitude while riding their two wheeler, specially when they are Participating a Rally, may be a Victory one or the Protest.

This man cannot be the future Prime Minister of India. Congress needs a different Prime Ministerial candidate for the next elections if it wants to do better than BJP.

Milan,Kindly accept the reality and move forward. Cong has reduced to 44. Your local candidate crashed into the record books. Okay if it was a fluke, Cong is losing state after state. Biggest hype of Priyanka Gandhi as been busted. Will Ktaka be the next to get rid of Cong. ? Cong leaders are party hopping to save themselves. Cong really has to introspect rather than finding and blaming BJP and Modi for everything.
