Moodbidri: 'Soglem Divnchem Thane' has Audience in Splits

Moodbidri, Apr 15: It was a joyful evening for all and sundry who came to watch the play 'Soglem Divnchem Thane' staged by 'Udentichim Neketram,' Moodbidri Varado Catholic Association (MVCA) at Padmavati Kala Mandir here on Sunday April 13.

The play had recently been staged in Dubai where it recieved rousing applause and much appreciation. The play was jointly organized by Avil D'Souza, Jerald Mendes Taccode and Simon Rodrigues, SVP president, Moodbidri and Udentichim Neketram, Dubai, UAE.

The play, written by Pradeep Barboza and directed by Dolla Mangalore saw huge crowds enjoying the humour with rip-roaring laughter. The performances by the actors were well-appreciated by each member of the audience.

The play was preceded by a short stage programme which was presided over by Fr John D'Souza, parish priest of Moodbidri town church and spiritual director of SVP here. Gurkar of Mannd Sobhann Eric Ozario was the chief guest while Fr Vincent D'Souza, parish priest of Alangar church was the special invitee.

The programme was coordinated by Lloyd Rego while Paul D'Souza compered.

    Very happy to see the Article.I can makeout by looking at the scene the programme was very good for timepass.Keep it up.When we were in Native when small v were very fond of looking such programmes,never missing it.God bless u all members of UDENTHICHEM NEKETRAM.
