Muscat: MCCP’s Annual Holy Bible Quiz April 18

The Mangalorean Catholic Center of the Parish, (MCCP, Sts. Peter & Paul Church – Ruwi), will be organizing the Annual Bible Quiz on Friday, 18th April 2008 at the Main Parish Hall of Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Ruwi.   The program will commence at 12 noon.

Lancy Lobo, Cultural Coordinator of MCCP  is the in-charge of the Holy Bible Quiz 2008. Victor Baptist Pais, current cultural secretary of MCCP will be anchoring the program. A renowned Quiz Master will be conducting the Holy Bible Quiz which will be very interesting.

Dilip Correa, main coordinator of Cultural, Spiritual and Community Services Committee has released the General rules for Holy Bible Quiz  2008 :

1. The Annual Bible Quiz 2008 will be presented in a simple and easy form, yet will have interesting and exciting features.  

EVERY CHILD TAKING PART IN THE QUIZ RECEIVES A PARTICIPATING GIFT!

2. To ensure better participation the formation of the teams will be as follows : 

 Three Quizzers in a team comprising of one student up to 7th Standard is compulsory. 
 
 For Example: a) Team of three should be represented by a child up to seventh standard and two adults of eighth standard or above eighth standard

 or b) a team can be of three children up to seventh standard as well.

3. The Bible Quiz will be strictly based on the complete New Testament (Four Gospels to Revelation) including Footnotes. Please note no questions outside this portion will be asked.

4. Participants should be present fifteen minutes prior to the competition at the venue.

5. Prize Distribution will be held on the same day.

6. Decision by the nominated Quiz Master will be final and no further correspondence of any nature will be entertained by the Executive committee.

7. Entries should be submitted to Mrs. Philomena Moras (GSM: 9233 8154) or Mrs. Leera Aranha GSM: 9214 6413.
