Dubai: Lourdes Kanajar Association Celebrates Annual Day

Dubai, Apr 20: Lourdes Kanajar organized an annual get-together combined with Easter celebration on the 18th of April at Hotel Al-Mas, Dubai.
 
                            
The program started at 1.15 pm with a welcome note from Frank Lobo who then took charge of the main events. Elsie Lobo conducted the prayer followed by bible reading and hymns.
 
In the absence of President Alwyn D’Souza, acting president Thomas Sequeira in his welcome speech hailed LKAE's achievements over the years. Elise Lobo read out the report and Joy D’souza presented the financials highlighting the profits and major contributions towards church hall, educational expenses of eight children studying in Kanajar.












The new members & newly married couples were introduced & presented a flower bouquet.
   
 
Various games, and baila dance were part of the entertainment program that was nicely carried out by Frank Lobo and others.
 
The delicious non-vegetarian lunch was sponsored by Canara Restaurant, Karama. LKAE acknowledged Leo & Jessy D’souza’s unstinted support for the people of kanajar. The music was sponsored by DJ Joy who played some good numbers throughout the day.



In the post lunch session, housie housie game was conducted followed by a baila dance and prize distribution. Stanley D’souza thanked one and all for gracing this occasion and also mentioned that there will be an outdoor picnic in few weeks time.
