Eight killed in Peru bus accident


Lima, Jul 10 (IANS): Eight persons were killed and 35 injured when a tourist bus overturned in Peru capital Lima, officials said.

Among the wounded in the accident on Sunday are two foreigners, one Chilean and one Canadian, as well as seven children, who were taken to hospitals, Efe news reported quoting officials.

The double-decker open-top bus of the Green Bus Company rolled downhill, after transporting a group of tourists to visit downtown Lima.
