Udupi, Apr 25: The United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) in association with Manipal University has extended a helping hand to prov1ide advise on educational services to students and information on educational opportunities in the United States.

Speaking to press persons on Thursday April 24, regional officer of USEFI Janaka Pushpanathan said that the foundation is reaching out to other Indian towns beyond the metros. She also informed that Manipal University has come forward to provide educational information services as 'Education –USA Satellite Information Centre (SIC) in India'.

The programme will assist the aspirants who are eager to pursue education in under graduation and post graduation spheres in reputed institutions of the United States.

Elucidating the services offered by the foundation, Pushpanathan said Fulbright Fellowships for Indian and American students, faculty and professionals, promotion of dialogue among Fulbrighters and their communities as an outgrowth of educational exchange, advising services for students interested in pursuing higher education in the US are the prominent areas of focus.

Vice-chancellor of Manipal University Rajashekaran Warrier was present.
