Possibility of light showers in Delhi


New Delhi, Jul 11 (IANS): It was a pleasant Tuesday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 28.5 degrees Celsius, a notch above normal, the weather office said.

"The sky will be generally cloudy with possibility of light rain or thundershowers towards evening or night," an official of the India Meteorological Department told IANS.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 38 degrees Celsius, two degrees above normal.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 77 per cent.

On Monday, the maximum temperature settled at 38.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, while the minimum was recorded at 30 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
