Mamata hails Gopalkrishna Gandhi's nomination

Kolkata, July 11 (IANS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee congratulated Gopalkrishna Gandhi on being selected as a candidate for the post of Vice President by all opposition parties.

"Congratulations to Gopal Gandhiji for being the unanimous choice of all opposition parties for Vice President. His credentials are his biggest asset," Banerjee tweeted.

The opposition on Tuesday named Gopalkrishna Gandhi as their candidate for the August 5 Vice Presidential election.
