Fire breaks out in Turkish military zone


Ankara, Jul 13 (IANS): A massive fire broke out on Thursday in a military zone in Turkey's Kilis province bordering Syria, injuring 10 soldiers.

The blaze caused explosions in an ammunition depot, and black smoke was seen rising into the sky, reports Xinhua news agency.

Firefighters battled to control the flames. An official statement said 10 soldiers were injured in the incident.

The cause of the fire remains unclear.
