B'lore: BJP Hopeful of a Sweeping Victory in Karnataka Polls

Bangalore, May 5 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Rajnath Singh on Sunday said that the party is optimistic about posting a sweeping victory in the upcoming Karnataka polls.

Singh was speaking to the the media in Bangalore.

"Bharatiya Janata party is sure and confident that in the Karnataka elections, we will emerge victorious," said Singh.

In full election mode BJP, ahead of the state polls, took to lambasting the Congress party ruling at the Centre on various issues. The BJP President said that the ruling Congress party is yet to comment in detail on the farmer's loan waiver issue.

Describing the loan waiver scheme as 'insufficient and ineffective', Singh said that it has failed to 'generate hope and confidence among the debt-ridden farmers' in the country.

"It makes mockery of the claim that it is a farmer's budget. BJP would like to say that loan waiver scheme is insufficient, inefficient and unacceptable. More than 200 farmers have committed suicide in different parts of the country even after the announcement of this loan waiver scheme," said Singh.

Major political parties have started wooing voters in Karnataka, as the state heads for three-phased polls for the 224-member State Assembly on May 10, 16 and 22 and BJP is not staying far behind.

"I think BJP is the natural choice for good governance not only in Karnataka but in the whole country. I proudly believe that if any political party in India can deliver on all fronts including good governance, it has to be a BJP," said the BJP president.

The elections will be held for 89 constituencies in the first phase, 66 constituencies will go to poll in the second phase on May 16, while in the remaining 69 constituencies poll in the third phase will be held on May 22.

Votes will be counted on May 25 and results are expected by afternoon.

The state has been in a political wilderness since November last year when the BJP-led coalition was ousted from the Assembly in less than a fortnight of being sworn in.

Mr. Rajnath Singh,"DONKEY PRAISES ITS OWN TAIL".Will you please kind enough to explain BJP's good Governance in Madhya Pradesh where BJP's Goons killed a Uncorrupt, Straightforward Professor who came in your (BJP) way of GOOD??? Governance.

Secondly,Is not BJP's good Governance CM shielding the Murderer and continuoisly denying the justice to the deceased family?.Even the CM visit the murderer in Hospital?. We Indians regard the teacher as "GURU" who's relation is above all and he who correct and guide the disciples(Student)to the right and bright path. Mercilessly Butchering the Guru and protecting the Criminal is BJP's Good Governance???.I think in BJP's Ideology a stray dog worthier than a Human Being and that is called Good Governance.
