Foetus found near municipal garbage dump in Delhi


New Delhi, Aug 6 (IANS): A four-month-old human foetus was found near a municipal garbage dump here on Sunday morning, police said.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Romil Baaniya said the foetus, which was wrapped in a cloth, was found by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) staff near a garbage site in south Delhi's Madangir.

Baaniya told IANS that the four-month-old male foetus was found around 9.15 a.m. by the MCD staff.

He said that the autopsy on the foetus will be conducted on Monday, and a case has been registered.
