Youth thrashed by angry villagers for attacking college-going girl

Bengaluru, Aug 9: Angry villagers of Mantana Kunchi on the outskirts of Bengaluru thrashed a 22-year-old youth for allegedly attacking a girl while she was on her way to college on Tuesday. 

According to the police, the accused, Imran Pasha, was seen by a few attacking the girl.

Before the villagers could stop the youth and catch him, he fled the scene. 

But as the news spread, agitated villagers searched and caught hold of the youth and thrashed him after tying him to an electric pole. 

He was later handed over to Nelamangala rural police. 

Further investigation is under progress.
