Mangalore, May 14: More than 60 people have died in the bomb blast that occurred on Tuesday May 13 at Jaipur in Rajasthan where BJP is heading the government. This shows the failure of the Rajasthan state government in detecting crime and maintaining law and order in the state, said Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary.

Speaking to media persons on Wednesday, May 14, he said that curbing terrorism and detecting crime is the responsibility of the state government. But the BJP is blaming the central government to hide its failure.

Protecting the country is the responsibility of all irrespective of party. Congress has never politicized the issue of terrorism and never commented against BJP for this reason. But the BJP is practicing low-level politics by using the terrorism as an issue for election, he alleged.

In Hebbal, RT Nagar and MPM Layout, BJP was engaged in providing fake election photo identity cards to voters so that they could cast bogus votes. BJP may continue to do the same in Dakshina Kannada also. Therefore, the election commission should take proper precautionary measures against these criminal elements, he urged and asked the voters to cast their votes by 8 am on polling day to avoid bogus votes.

Sonia Effect

Visit of Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi to the city has really boosted the spirit of party leaders and activists. The huge crowd gathered to listen to Sonia Gandhi has shown that there is a favourable wave for Congress in the coastal region. Congress will definitely win in six out of the eight constituencies in Dakshina Kannada, he said.

Modi of Karnataka

'Former BJP chief minister Yeddyurappa is claiming that he is the Narendra Modi of Karnataka. Modi could be arrested any time for the massacre he planned in the year 2002 in Gujarat. Unfortunately, Yeddyurappa is following such a criminal personality. Therefore, Congress, JD (S) and Samajavadi Party have joined together to defeat this Karnataka Modi in Shikaripur constituency located in Shimoga district. There is no understanding between Congress, JD (S) and Samajavadi Party but it is a strategy to defeat the new Modi,’ he clarified.

Congress leaders Kallige Taranath Shetty, Kodinjal Ibrahim, M G Hegade and others were present on the occasion.

Mr. Poojari, your habit of making foot-in-mouth statements proves you are just looking for cheap publicity. Your govt "fights" for not hanging dreaded people like Afzal Guru or revoke anti-terror laws like POTA and proudly start trains to Bangladesh, Pak, POK. After taking all such "SECURE" steps your central govt wants poor state govts to protect themselves..... people who used to sneak in from borders of Bangladesh, POK, Pak etc can now officially come in trains, do their "JOB" ...like in Jaipur and go back to home country. Please be sensible before making statements.

Mr. Siva G, who is not talking for Vote sake? Is it BJP? As per your opinion, if the BJP is so much in peoples favor they could have join hands with UPA and tried to curb the inflation which is crossing almost 7.5% due to high oil price of almost $125. Instead of every single BJP leader, as if they are the living Saints, try to cash on this situation and fooling the people of our Country saying that UPA, specially Sonia and PM are the main reason for inflation where the whole world is suffering due to Oil prices and I bet, also in USA you are paying increase prices for all essential commodities.

Secondly-"POTA" There are enough Law in existence in our Country to catch the culprit and there are enough Court of Justice to punish the wrongdoing. POTA is needed only to those who want to CURB the voice of the people who demand the Justice, especially the BJP governed states. Do you have any knowledge under POTA how many innocent people from minority community were arrested and languish in jail for years. Can you please tell the readers of F2F that under POTA how many of the Gujarat Riot Culprits were booked or gunned down in Encounters.

Mr. Poojariji, You have got it wrong. It is the UPA which has repealed POTA and made the states toothless to fight. When Gujarath Police fought pre-emptively against terrorists (I am not talking about Riots - I am refering to encounters with dreaded terrorists), Guj Govt is condemned, the police officers who fought to protect the innocent civilians are jailed and prosecuted by UPA. The UPA Govt is sitting over the Organized Crime Prevetion bills approved and passed by Gujarath and Rajasthan. Your party ties their hand and tells them they have not protected. Be fair! Now tell me Mr Poojariji, whatever you are talking is for votes sake. Don't throw stones sitting inside a Glass house.
