Kasargod: Clashes during Ganapati immersion ceremony - case against 15

Kasargod, Aug 28: In connection with a fistfight which erupted during the immersion ceremony related to Ganeshotsava celebrated at Badoor near Badiyadka in the district, police have registered a case against 15 CPM activists.

In his complaint, BJP activist, Hemachandra from Mundithadka, named trouble mongers as Pavan, Vasanth, Pruthvi, Soorya, Biju and ten other CPM activists, who are from Badoor and surrounding places, holding them responsible for the trouble. Accordingly, the police registered a case against them.

BJP activists Hemachandra, Yogeesh and Santhosh from Badoor as well as Ajith from Mugu were injured. All of them were admitted into the general hospital in the town.
