Kundapur, Sep 2: Snake charmer, Joseph Louis from Hemmady, who caught a Python on the loose was bitten by the reptile. He made his way to the Kundapur government hospital, taking the snake with him.

A family in Hemmady had contacted Joseph on seeing a snake in the compound on Friday evening, September 1. Joseph, an auto rickshaw driver by profession, came to Parthikatte, to try and catch the snake hiding in the bush. In the attempt, the snake bit his right hand. Though a bit anxious in the start, Joseph composed himself, and tied a cloth near the cut and rushed to the hospital, not leaving the creature behind.

Forest officials who received information about the incident, came to the hospital and declared the reptile a Python.

After receiving first aid at the hospital, Joseph returned to Hemmady.
