Bomb hurled at Meghalaya legislator's house


Shillong, Sep 18 (IANS): A petrol bomb was hurled at United Democratic Party (UDP) legislator Paul Lyngdoh's house here on Monday, police said.

The incident occurred at around 5 a.m. but no one was injured, East Khasi Hills police chief Davies Marak told IANS.

Marak said the police had launched a probe into the attack. Lyngdoh was a former Meghalaya Urban Affairs Minister.
