Mangalore: Estel Crasta's House Roof Caves in at Ulliya - One Injured

Mangalore, Jun 9: Heavy rains coupled with speeding gales resulted in another tragedy at Pavoor Ulliya isle on Monday June 9 morning. The roof of certain Estel Crasta's house collapsed resulting in a loss Rs 1 lac in the early hours of Monday.

Speaking to Daijiworld, Estel said that she, along with her daughter Tina, grandchildren Princita (7), Cunita (6) and Sylvita (3) were sleeping when the roof caved in. As the roof started collapsed, all the inmates ran out of the house sensing danger.

But Princita sustained serious injuries in the bargain. Tina and her two other children however, escaped with minor bruises.

    Really sad to read this untimely incident. God's wishes are different anyways and one should bow his head for sure. Thanks to Jerome and Francis for raising an issue of financial help to Estel. My sincere request with Daijiworld Media that they can trace the right information for Estel and her bank details where she can be a lot more helped financially by many numbers (including me)afterall it is being "Ful aur Fulachi Pakli". Once again I thank Daijiworld media from the bottom of my heart for throwing light on this untimely incident for Estel's family and thank God for saving her and family from a huge danger.

    Thanks for all those who are willing to help Estel & Fly. I know her since birth, she is a poor lady and needs help now. Lost her husband few years back by cancer. Earns a little by rolling Beedies for daily bread. Please contact Fr. Robert Saldanha -Farengipet convent-Capuchin who is incharge of Uliya Parish or Mr. Aurel D'souza-Gurkar Uliya for Estels Bank details but I don't think that she has one any how Fr.     Thank you Mr. Jerome, I am from Pavoor Uliya but now settled in Bombay. Recently I visited Pavoor and met most of them. Estel is a poor lady, her husband died few years ago with cancer I belive, she is earning a small income by rolling beedies and I think she needs help.

    You can contact Fr. Robert from farengipet(capuchin) who is incharge of Uliya or Mr. Aurel D'Souza-Gurkar of Uliya Phone-9900829210 who will assist you more in this regard.

    Its really sad that Mrs. Crasta and her family have to go through such an incident. From the look of it, we can see that she is a very poor lady- the house doesnt even have plastering done. It would be good if the Daijiworld team investigates the financial position of Mrs Crasta and provide details if she requires financial assiatance to over come this situation.
