Mangalore: J R Lobo Takes over as Mangalore Corporation Commissioner

Mangalore, Jun 12: J R Lobo, hitherto working as the director of Karnataka Urban Development and Infrastructure Corporation (KUDCEMP) and Pilikula Nisargadhama, has taken over charge as the commissioner of Mangalore City Corporation on June 11.

He has taken over the post lying vacant subsequent to the transfer of the previous incumbent, P K Subbaiah. Sources said that after taking as the MCC commissioner, J R Lobo has gone on a long leave handing over the charge to joint commissioner. J R Lobo is expected to report to duty on June 20.

It may be recalled that Lobo had worked as the city corporation commissioner before he took over as the director of KUDCEMP.

Mangalore has the potential to go places but ONLY if the corrupt/ partiality ridden and dictatorial babus are put in their place. J.R. is not new to this assignment as he has done very satisfactory job as a commissioner earlier.
