Puttur: Engineering student dies as scooter hits road divider

Puttur, Oct 25: A young engineering student died in an accident at Darbe on Wednesday October 25.

Deceased has been identified as Mariamma Samreena, daughter of Hassainar Haji, owner of City Bazaar at Puttur.

Samreena was first year engineering student in a private college.

As per the sources two-wheeler Honda Activa, driven by Mariamma Samreena, hit a road divider. She fell off to the road and suffered severe injuries.

Samreena succumbed to injuries on the way to the hospital.

Traffic police visited the place.
