Puttur: Man accused of hurting sentiments of Muslims surrenders

Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Oct 25: A person, who was accused of indulging in sacrilege by imposing the picture of Lord Hanuman over the picture of Mecca Masjid in the display picture of his WhatsApp account, surrendered to the police on the night of Tuesday October 24. The issue had given rise to frayed tempers at Kadaba in the taluk.

The youth who surrendered to Kadaba police has been identified as Pradeep from Kudkuli near Kadaba. Pro-Muslim organizations with the support of many others had taken out a silent march through Kadaba town as a mark of protest on Tuesday. They later held protest in front of the office of Kadaba tahsildar, seeking immediate arrest of the accused for hurting their religious sentiments.

After these developments, accused Pradeep went to police station on his own and surrendered there. With this, the heat generated by the case appears to have died down.

No matter one is Hindu or Muslim or belong to any religion no one allowed to make fun of each others religious beliefs and sentiments.

Also it is not necessary that if any person make this kind of inappropriate act only other religion people who got hurt should take action.
if Hindu do this why not our Hindu friends take action against him
if Muslim do this why not our Muslim friends take action against him

Live with unity not with enmity

Why so much bothered about God. No other things to do or what??? That too about other religions???
God is one and the same for all. There can not exist different gods because it is against the nature (Ease & Essence) of God.
If any one bothered about God let that person deal with the God of his own religion.
Thank you and God bless each and every one of us.

No should make fun of each others belief for that matter. Even CM has no authority to justify his act of eating non-veg food before entering holy places. Hindu's believe in certain rituals. As the state head he should honour the sentiments of the people and give justification of not following the norm.

Mohit...I think you have not heard about clarification given by Dhamasthala authorities that there is no rule that no one can enter temple after eating non veg. This is drama created by BJP and CM answered them in a proper way. By the way, BJP is not custodian of hindu religion or hindu culture. They are destroying the same through thug associations like Bajrang Dal and Ram Sene.
