Beltangady: Two killed on the spot as cars collide near Gardadi

Beltangady, Oct 29: Two persons were killed on the spot in an accident near Gardadi here on the evening Sunday October 29.

The deceased have been identified as Vishwas Kulal and Vinayak Kulal, both from Guruvayanakere.

The accident took place between a private car and a tourist car.

Two others who were in the car sustained injuries and have been admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru.

The car on which diseased were travelling doesnt have any safety. No airbags... that couldbe one of main reasons why they lost life on th spot. Airbags has to be made compulsory in all cars....

These accidents are ever on he increase. What can the police do. However prevention is better than cure. It is time that all vehicle license owners are given proper advice and necessary instructions by some kind of media on SAFETY MEASURES.
