Mangaluru: Mayor Kavita Sanil hits a hatrick in welcoming distinguished dignitaries

Mangaluru, Oct 30: First citizen of the city, Kavita Sanil, has had the rare opportunity of extending warm welcome to three distinguished dignitaries of eminent stature during her tenure of less than a year as city mayor. Kavita therefore has hit a hatrick in this particular segment.

Kavita had the lucky opportunity to welcome former President, Pranab Mukherjee, when he visited the city during his last days in office. When Karnataka governor, Vajubhai Vala, came here, mayor Kavita Sanil was there to extend welcome to him on behalf of the city. She was at the airport again when Prime Minister (PM), Narendra Modi, arrived at the airport here on Sunday on his maiden visit to the district after becoming PM.

Union minister, Ananth Kumar, when introducing Kavita to the PM, brought to the notice of Modi that Kavita happens to be a Karate champion. The PM expressed happiness at this achievement and congratulated Sanil.

    Modi need to learn from Kavita.she became mayor support of congress.but she is mayor everyone and all the parties.the way she delivers and support and work that is for everyone and all never act that belongs to Congress.     Hatrick leave. Get our roads done properly, also water supply. Simply allowing borewells to be done for buildings which are empty not required. We the citizens are paying taxes and getting nothing absolutely nothing. Roads are PATHETIC. Wonder how ambulances ply with serious cases. Cost of vehicle maintenance goes up as we now do offroading in non offroading vehicles due to roads. Government employees enjoy the benefits as they don't have to pay for maintenance and damage. SICK....
