India country of Hindus first, others later: Sena

Mumbai, Oct 30 (PTI): Holding that India is a country of Hindus first and others later, the Shiv Sena today said despite a "pro-Hindutva" government at the Centre, issues like Ram Temple construction in Ayodhya and 'gharwapsi' of displaced Kashmiri Pandits are still unresolved.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had on Friday said in Indore that 'Hindustan' is a country of Hindus, but it does not mean that it does not belong to "others".

"The RSS chief says like Hindus, India belongs to others as well. The Shiv Sena chief says India belongs to Hindus first and others later, because there are more than 50 countries for Muslims," the Sena said in an editorial in party mouthpiece 'Saamana'.

"Christians have countries like America and (in) Europe. Buddhists have China, Japan, Sri Lanka and Myanmar. Hindus do not have any country except this.

"Today there is a pro-Hindutva majority government in power. Yet, it is not willing to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya and left its future in the hands of court," it said.

"Despite a pro-Hindutva government, the gharwapsi of Kashmiri Pandits hasn't taken place," said the Sena, which is a constituent of the NDA government at the Centre and an ally of the ruling BJP in Maharashtra.

It also waded into the ongoing debate over playing the national anthem in public places. A stubborn attitude prevails towards singing of 'Vande Mataram' despite the president and the prime minister belonging to the "thought process of the RSS", and some also do not find it appropriate to stand up while the national anthem is being played, the saffron ally said.

"If these 'others' are insulting the national anthem by not standing up, the RSS chief should guide the pro-Hindutva government on what stand it should take against them," it said.

The Sena further said Bhagwat's statement that "no one leader or party can make the country great..." also cannot be ignored.

The RSS chief had last week said that no one leader or party can make the country great but it needs a change and we will have to prepare the society for it.

    Self Explanatory...

"The Origins of the Caste System. According to one long-held theory about the origins of South Asia's caste system, Aryans from central Asia invaded South Asia and introduced the caste system as a means of controlling the local populations. The Aryans defined key roles in society, then assigned groups of people to them."

How come India belongs to Hindus first? Same as Muslims and Christians, Hindus too are outsiders.
The original inhabitants of India were pre Dravidian Munda aborigines whose descendants now live in parts of Chotanagpur (Jharkhand), Chhattisgarh, Orissa, West Bengal etc.
this is the thesis put forward in a judgment delivered on 5th January 2011 by a Supreme Court of India. This facts lend support to the view that about 92% of the people living in India are descendants of immigrants including Hindus.

Though these tribals and adivasis are actual Indians, they were slaughtered in large numbers, and the survivors and their descendants were degraded, humiliated and all kinds of atrocities inflicted on them for centuries. They were deprived of their lands and pushed into forests and hills where they eke out a miserable existence of poverty, illiteracy, disease etc. And now efforts are being made by some people to deprive them even of their forest and hill land where they are living and the forest produce on which they survive.
The shame full act of Dronacharya, who demanded the right thumb of Ekalavya so that Ekalavya should not become a better archer than his favorite upper caste Arjun. He had not even taught Ekalavya, so what right had he to demand Guru Dakshina? It is time now to undo the historical injustice to them.

I PITY on this Sena Thugs!!!!! They Really don't know what they are commenting. If there are more than 50 Islamic countries , it doesn't mean that a Indian Muslim automatically become the Citizen of either of these Countries or a Indian Christian cannot accepted as a Citizen of Rome either. Both of them will REMAIN as Indian as long as they don't go through legal process.

The Mauryas and Gupta dynasties had ruled more than 1500 years before the Mughals. We agree that all Indians were Hindus during that period, following the Vedic religion. Yet that does not mean minorities are second class citizens of this country. It is a childish statement. Does the Shiv Sena mean all minorities are immigrants? Later on during the medieval period thousands of Hindus embraced other religions while many were converted by force. We respect Hinduism since it had been the religion of our forefathers. Our culture, customs and traditions are still the same. We are as much Indian as they are. Then why this illogical statement?

Shiv Sena must realise that India belongs to all Indian Citizens of all cast and creed including Hindus. Which religion/citizen is first and last comes second and all going to do die one day and one should not judge whether he is last or first to die. Any country in the world don't treat all citizens equal and ruling is based on religion definitely that country's fall is sure. If we see the present Geo Political trend and the nations involved many are changing their ways and adopting to new economic situations!!! Let India face the present socio economic situations first to the required level and then we discuss who is first... and definitely citizens aware that who is better off and some are zealous of others standard of living...

Why these people are so much confused ? We all agree India is country of Hindus. Then why 9 month pregnant woman was thrashed to death for touching a dustbin of upper caste ? Why scavenging work is given to Dalits and not for upper caste ? Why Dalits girls are not accepted as daughter-in-laws by upper caste or why dalits are not accepted as son-in-laws by upper caste ? Are dalits not Hindus ? Why upper caste youths are not involved in riots and are arrested by police ? How much do these Hindu outfits work for the welfare of their fellow Hinds ? How many Schools, hospitals, orphanages, old age homes have they opened for their fellow Hindus ? All dombarata to fool Hindus for vote and to become millionaires by looting the country. Divide & rule is the policy.
