Two shot in Gurugram pub brawl


Gurugram, Oct 30 (IANS): Two persons received gunshot injuries after two groups clashed at a pub here early on Monday, police said.

The incident took place at S Bar in Grand Mall located on the busy Mehrauli-Gurugram (MG) road.

According to police, bar owner Deepak Kumar was standing with his friends Parvinder Singh and Praveen Kumar when a group of 15 youths attacked them and some of them opened fire.

Parvinder Singh and Praveen Kumar were hit by bullets and taken to Artemis Hospital where their condition is said to be stable.

Mintu, who hails from Faridabad, and Amit Kumar, a resident of Dohla village of Gurugram's Sohna, were arrested for firing.

A case was registered under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code including attempt to murder, said a police officer.

The arrested two will be produced before the area magistrate's court and "we will seek police remand", said police officer Ravinder Kumar.

He said the other accused will be arrested soon.
