Mangaluru: Elderly woman dies as train hits her at Thokkottu

Mangaluru, Nov 1: An elderly woman died after a train hit her at Thokkottu on Wednesday, November 1.

The woman is yet to be identified. Police said her age is between 60 and 70.

The accident took place near Thokkottu over-bridge in the morning of Wednesday. It is now believed that she was crossing the track when the passing train hit her.

The body has been taken to Wenlcok hospital.

The police have registered a case.
