Two CRPF troopers injured in J&K attack


Srinagar, Nov 2 (IANS): Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troopers were injured on Thursday in a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district.

"A convoy of CRPF's 96 battalion comprising of six buses was on its way back to Mattan town when it was fired upon by militants," a police officer said.

"The attack was repulsed, but two troopers sustained minor injuries. The area has been cordoned off for searches," he added.
