Bengaluru: Irked by empty chairs at rally, Amit Shah takes state BJP leaders to task

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Nov 2: BJP party national president Amit Shah was reportedly irked after he was welcomed by a sea of empty chairs at the Karnataka BJP's 'grand' launch of the Nava Karnataka Parivarthana Yatra.

Sources said that Shah severely lashed at the state BJP for failing to mobilize crowd to the venue. It is reported that union minister D V Sadananda Gowda and Karnataka BJP president B S Yeddyurappa had to face the brunt, as they were taken to task by Shah for poor organizational skills.

Shah was also stuck in traffic on Bengaluru-Tumakuru road stretch. The vehicle that was supposed to pick Shah from airport was also stuck in traffic. This added to the list of annoyances and Shah was forced fly from the airport to the venue.

Union minister Piyush Goyal sensed Shah's annoyance when he saw empty chairs and reportedly asked some leaders on the dais to occupy the chairs meant for party workers as a cover-up. However, some ministers failed to react and apparently Goyal personally asked some leaders to shift.

Yatra to cover 7,500 km in 75 days

BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa’s historical campaign 'Nava Karnataka Parivarthana Yatra' will travel across 224 constituencies in the state covering 7,500 km in 75 days.

Yeddyurappa is planning to lead Nava Karnataka Parivarthan rally on all 75 days and other leaders will join him at their respective constituencies. The rally will conclude on January 25 at Chamundeshwari, the constituency from where chief minister Siddaramaiah will be contesting.

The Yatra will first go through Kunigal and halt at Yediyuru. The rally will cover 3 to 4 constituencies per day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the valedictory of the BJP rally. As part of the rally, there will be two bike rallies in Dakshina Kannada and Hubballi.

This is what is called sacha parivarthan in Karnataka. People of Karnataka do not need such expensive rallies and yatras to tell them whom to vote. They can judge by the performance of the govt.

    To the BJP supporters/Bhakt,
Always support apolitical party which implements development mantra. Our India should be main priority.
Last elections BJP have massively spent on network marketing ,if you look at their website. We will just exclaim WOW!!!But frankly speaking did that website helped our country ,is my country as clean as that website. Its really sad,how they manipulated emotional religious boys and girls into andhbhakths. Now people anymore don't trust them. There are so many bhakts whom i know who never drank alcohol are into it,who never had the smoking habit are falling into it.They are depressed souls.Right now only counselling is need of the hour.
Some are regretting becaus they have lost their friends who were once very close friends(of minority community). After Modi govt came to power ,almost everyone started seeing fellow Indian as is he muslim,a hindu.Oh he wears saffron lungi, then he is abhakt,oh he wears askull cap ,then dangerous.
We were illusionised so much that even the Taj Mahal had to be in witness box .She was also branded muslim .

Open up brains my dears, why is govt forcing us to brand Indians in different category. Its only because there are some people want to make easy money under this govt and they want normal Indians like us to get busy in beef fighting communal fights,so that they get their work done.I dont have to nane who has become rich. I heard the News right now is that Anil Ambani going to get franchise of France jet fighters .

Its really sad !!!I am currently a congress supporter because our condition 1000times better than UP,MP,Gujrath. If congress also does the same i ll not support them.Because its against my conscience ,if I blindly support the party ,then I am harming my country.I LOVE MY NATION ,SHE HAS THE FULL RIGHT TO GET UPGRADED.

It seems all ministers are bothered about their seats. Even the P.M. spends most of this time in participating the election rallies and criticizing the opposition parties. Huge black money is used for these election rallies. Rs. 2000 notes are useful for these rallies. That was the main idea to introduce Rs.2000/- currency notes. Easy to carry, hide and fit for the deal. No GST imposed on these trips, securities and stages arrangements.

Now the only option left for the BJP is to create more communal trouble, intensify the division of the people along communal lines, recruit and field more swamis because there is nothing else to show by way of development. When the BJP came to power about three years back, I had really hoped that it would succeed in giving good governance because I was disillusioned by the Congress. Alas, the remedy proved to be worse than the disease. What a let down it has been by the BJP. Like so many of my countrymen, I am extremely disappointed. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. The sight of empty chairs greeting the most corrupt Amit Shah is a telling commentary on the devastation of the economy under this BJP government. I don't know what to do. Both the Congress and the BJP have proved how worthless they are.

Allurement and false promise is also deceiving should be punished.
If people are truly convinced of the performance, love the party and leaders, they will come on their own!
Let persons and leaders do their work. If they are happy even if they don't attend, still they will vote! Why get frustrated for vacant seats and less crowd for the Yatra?.

it is like love at first sight.... Failure of the Yatra at the first step, at launch? If there is substance in the program / yatra / jatre / mela / nataka in kar nataka...

The current state government in Karnataka has a plan and is delivering without much of acche din promise. It is always better to under promise and over perform.

Marketing does not work with people of Karnataka. People of Karnataka are real and not carried away by hollow talk. people of Karnataka see ground reality. one can surely see who works and who talks....

is there no law in this country to stop hate mongers from public meetings be is the am pm cm pp or what ever.... people in power MUST TALK OF THEIR PERFORMENCE IN OFFICE IN THE TERM THEY HAVE BEEN VOTED FOR....and not give excuses for non performance. it is shameful that we have the King and the minister preaching hate and malice and comparing how the other party is not doing or how the other party was.... and how the other party did not do what or did what for 70 years...?

can we see now our politicians come up and say YOU VOTED US TO POWER AND WE PROMISED THIS AND WE DID THIS MUCH OF OUR PROMISES....

IF SO where do we stand ????

can we talk development and real development and no communal talks.

let us talk real issues no food no khabarstaans no money no tax no nothing.... let us talk real issues that affect at leat 80% of people who are not party workers and not business community....

India is predominantly an agricultural economy and should we see a change in th life of our middle class and farming community??

there are many real issues and we are busy with hate mongering from dias to people wo do not come to hear what they are sure not of any use to them....
