Mangaluru, Nov 4: “BJP needs Parivarthan as they could not even gather more than 3,000 people for their Parivarthan rally in Bengaluru,” said chief minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday, November 4.
Siddaramaiah was speaking to reporters at the airport here after he arrived to inaugurate national level karate championship at Nehru Maidan.
“BJP had the dream of gathering lacs of people. But only empty chairs witnessed the Parivarthan rally as they failed to bring people,” he added.
“Discussion is on to form Special Investigation Team (SIT) to curb illegal mining in the state. It is a Rs 25,000-crore scam. The Central Bureau of Investigation has dropped its probe into the cases of illegal export of iron ore from Mangaluru and Karwar ports citing lack of evidence,” he informed.
“We too will do a campaign in all the constituencies in the state, but it will be different from Parivarthan rally,” Siddaramaiah said.
