    RIP bro...
    Maybe due to misguidance
And we bodybuilder drop water for 1 or 2days for event and we maintain healthy diet in his case some missguidance they prepare chart using Google which should not be done and some trainee use bodybuilder as lab
    Cardio vascular endurance poor
But than Event organiser should make sure that medical facilities available in emergency situations which is important
If person has habit of smoking or alcohol probably more chance to get heart attack

I have witnessed this recently in my a gyms recently. The trainers give half baked information to their clients, With the intention to pack on muscle, the contestants are made to consume high protein food and supplements . In addition cardios too are reduced drastically or to 'NO cardio' to ensure there is no muscle burning. This may results in clogged arteries and failed heart functioning. Anyways RIP bro.

Most probably the products he was using contained steroids which build muscles after it reaches plateau, & they give quick results but they damage their internal organs & death at young age.
Remember how many Olympic athletes died young, only thing is they were successful in avoiding the detection of anabolic steroids they had spike their supplements.

Hello sir, actually steroids alone are not the one to blame here. It's the diuretics which bodybuilders take to remove water from their body which causes increase in heart rate and low BP. Steroids taken in recommended dosage are equal to harmless.

These competitions require bodybuilders to be at less than 6% body fat.. maybe even 5%. They consume a lot of diuretics for it too.. that might be the reason.. there have been a few body builders who have passed away at bodybuilding competitions. It's unfortunate

May his soul rest in peace
