Sullia: MP Nalin, minister Rai stop short of verbal confrontation

Daijiworld Media Network - Sullia (SP)

Sullia, Nov 7: At the consultative meeting on ecological sensitive zone at Harihara Pallathadka near Subrahmanya in the taluk on Monday November 6, state forest minister, B Ramanath Rai, and MP, Nalin Kumar Kateel, had taken part.

At the meeting, Ramanath Rai provided details of steps undertaken by the state government on the issue. When Nalin Kumar Kateel began to speak and gave details of various steps taken by the central government, Rai suddenly rose from his seat, moved to the mike and began to give clarification. Both of them stood close to each other and spoke simultaneously, which confused the audience.

Sensing that those attending the meeting were disturbed because of this development, the MP stopped talking and returned to his seat after suggesting to Rai to sort out the issues between themselves.

Tahsildar, Ganesh Ashok Nekraje, Dr Raghu, Himmath K C, Harshkumar D S, Nityananda Mundody, M Venkappa Gowda, Harish Kanjipili, Venkat Volalambe, Kiran Budleguthu, wildlife department official, Jaya, forest officers, Jagannath and Tyagaraj etc were present.

In American presidency election there are open debate prior to the elections. In India there are similar experiments in Delhi assembly elections which AAP represented well in all debates.
A confused and divided Bharatiya Janata Party, which was riding high following the landslide victory in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and consecutive wins in the Assembly elections in four states, has been steamrolled by the two-year-old Aam Aadmi Party in the Delhi Assembly elections.
The failure to counter the charismatic and street smart IIT Kharagpur graduate Arvind Kejriwal, who rebuilt the AAP after the party's mauling in the Lok Sabha elections, saw the BJP resorting to negative campaign which failed to sway the voters leading to its decimation and reducing the party to single digits in the 70-member Assembly.
After tasting defeat in Delhi BJP left ferman to its leaders saying no open debate prior to elections and resorted on negative publicity.
It should be noted that Modi is first Prime Minister who has not held any press conference on his own government policies in neutral avenue represented by the International and national media.
While PM Modi took 'Mann ki baat' is the only way to connect, his own minister embroiled in corruption taking 'Maun vrath'.
Whereas anti corruption crusade Anna Hazare during UPA 2 who held 'Satyagraha' is no more heard.
Sambit Patra, a popular face on TV channels for BJp, has was appointed as non-official director on the board of the ONGC.Patra to the post for a remuneration of around Rs 23 lakh per year amounted to grant of state largesse to a private person. Patra Doctor by profession earns talking more than consultancy.
In other BJP runs from the open debate wherever it sense trouble and brings religion to divert from the actual fact.

You are absolutely right. This is just drama for the public to watch. Backyard, both are friends and might be they are sharing the booty of our hard earned tax payed money which had gone for development projects.

If one has to corner these disgusting elements, ignore them and concentrate on our own growth by
    working hard.

How anyone can counter the Tiger Mr. Rai when they are unable to speak even their own mother tongue, other languages like Hindi or English leave aside. That is the reason they ran away from the delegation in Russia. They know only the language of setting DK on fire and shout at police officers who are discharging their duties.
