Daijiworld Media Network – Karkala (RJP)

Karkala, Nov 26: Karkala MLA V Sunil Kumar turned Good Samaritan on Saturday, November 25, when he took a seriously injured man in his car to a hospital in Manipal.

As per details, When Sunil Kumar was proceeding to Udupi to attend Dharma Sansad, he found a man lying on the road seriously injured at Hiriadka. He immediately asked his driver to stop the car. Sunil Kumar, with the help of his driver and gunman, managed to bring the injured inside the car. Then the injured was taken to a hospital in Manipal.

V Sunil Kumar

Dharma, from Tamil Nadu, was the person injured. He had met with an accident at 4 pm and no one came to help him. It was said that when Sunil Kumar’s car arrived on the road, it was already half an hour since the accident. Dharma had sustained serious injuries to his leg and was in bad condition suffering from pain. Not getting help from people had worsened his agony.

Sunil Kumar had to buy cloth from a local store in Hiriadka to tie to the place where the leg of the injured person had grave wound.

The MLA also requested the hospital authorities to pay extra attention to the injured man as he was brought late. Only after the injured was attended, the MLA decided to leave the hospital.

Many accidents happens but few good samaritans are available like doing this good job. Our Minister Abuld Khader on many occassions has done such good deeds. Even in Bangalore he rendered service like this. Anyway MLA Sunils job needs to be appreciated and praised.

Definately since the person who helped the injured belong to BJP you are finding XYZ reasons to find fault in this. If it was Khangress you would have definitely appreciated this work.

Ya, when Rahul Gandhi travels in local train it is news. When he withdraws cash from ATM it is news. When Mr Khader saves injured it is news. When Sunil Kumar saves people, what's the big deal. When sushma swaraj saves stranded people, praise the Lord and He saved them. Good going.

MN..please don't bring politics here. I hate many of BJP politicians but Sunil Kumar is a good MLA. I also hate many of Congress politicians if they are bad. Many people hesitate to take injured to the hospital. In such a case, this action by Sunil Kumar is really act of good samaritan. May God bless him. Sunil kumar is a development oriented person and hence he is winning Karkal assembly seat comfortably at this young age. We need MLA's like Sunil Kumar, Pramod Madhwaraj, JR Lobo, UT Khader who are gems of Mangalore and Udupi.
