Bantwal, Jul 9: The parishioners of Nirkan church, along with their parish priest Fr Edwin Correa celebrated the titular feast of their patron St Thomas, the Apostle of India recently.
Mangalore diocese YCS director Fr Ronald D'Souza was the main celebrant on the occasion. He preached on the theme 'Jesus Christ is the Centre of Our Faith and Life.'
Fr Victor D'Souza, assistant parish priest of Permannur church, Fr Sunil Veigas, assistant parish priest of Pakshikere church and Nirkan parish priest concelebrated the Holy Eucharist. Large number of parishioners too participated in the celebration with devotion.
