Bengaluru, Dec 19: In a shocking incident, police here have realized that seven Bangla infiltrators had obtained Aadhaar cards by providing fake documents. All of them stand arrested and it is suspected that the number of such cases might be much more.

These infiltrators work as construction workers. They had procured these cards through a middleman by providing fake documents. They used these cards to get facilities from the government, it has been found. It is said that the middlemen collected Rs 500 from these people for providing them with Aadhaar cards.

The arrested Bangladeshis have been identified as Rubi, Rahid Khan, Muhammed Mokon, Wahid Ulla Naheed, Muhammed Kalam, and Wakir Hussain. Syed Saifulla from Bellandur here, who functioned as middleman, also has been taken into custody.

The police now plan to take into custody Dr H C Lokesh, medical officer of primary health centre at Dommasandra, who had signed the fake documents of these citizens of Bangladesh.
