Bengaluru: Car falls down from bridge on Airport Road, three critically injured

Bengaluru, Dec 20: In a dreadful accident on Airport Road here on Wednesday, December 20, a car fell down from the bridge and toppled causing critical injuries to the driver and two girls in the car.

The incident has happened in the wee hours at about 4 am. The injured are identified as driver Varun Jain (31), Chaitra (25) and Rachitha (23).

As the car reached the bridge near Bengaluru farmer's market from Devanahalli airport, it fell to the service road below the bridge and toppled. The car which fell from a height of nearly hundred meters got rubbed on the road and has been completely damaged. The car is registered in Rajasthan.

The injured have been admitted to Yalahanka government hospital.

Yalahanka traffic police rushed to the spot and conducted investigations.

The spare parts of the car were scattered in the impact.

Police removed the car that was obstructing traffic.

A police case stands registered in Yalahanka police station.
