Mangaluru, Dec 23: The police under the city commissionerate, who went to Mumbai and brought Priyanka (25) from Daregudde, Moodbidri and the man with whom she had eloped just two days ahead of her marriage back, have been questioning the duo in a secret spot.

The investigation team comprising personnel of Moodbidri and Panambur police stations which visited Mumbai, found the whereabouts of Priyanka who was found to be in the company of her companion, and brought them here. The police however, have chosen not to reveal details of the ongoing investigation. It might take a couple of days more before details come out into the open.

Priyanka, whose marriage was to be held on December 11 at Moodbidri, had gone missing since late night on December 8, the day on which Mehendi programme had been held. The family members were sleeping when the bride-to-be chose to flee from her home. This had resulted in cancellation of her marriage with a youth employed abroad.
