Sushma seeks vote from Assam Muslim MP

New Delhi, Dec 23 (DHNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj sought a vote from Lok Sabha MP Badruddin Ajmal after he thanked her on Twitter for India's vote at the United Nations against the US' move to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Ajmal, who leads the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) of Assam, responded with a barb, saying his vote and the votes of the people he and his party represent were always for India and they would vote for the ruling BJP only when it stopped differentiating between majority and minority community.

"Thanks Government of India for voting in the UN against US decision of Jerusalem as Israel's capital. @SushmaSwaraj," Ajmal, who was elected to the Lok Sabha from Dhubri constituency in western Assam, posted on Twitter, tagging minister.

On Thursday, India joined an overwhelming majority of 127 nations at the United Nations General Assembly to vote in favour of a resolution asking the US to withdraw its recent decision to recognise Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.

Sushma retweeted Ajmal's tweet. "Thank you Ajmal Sahib. Now you vote for us," she posted on Twitter.

"Our vote is always for India, Madam. The day BJP does not differentiate between Majority and Minority community, our vote will be for you," replied Ajmal.

"I am grateful to the BJP for seeking our support but there is no question of supporting the BJP ever. The present situation has become so communally polarized. We can't be party to a government like this...," he tweeted later.

Certainly, it's a "BESHARAM JANARA PARTY". In one hand Lynching the INNOCENT Muslims, who are not at all involved in any type of violence instead they are roaming in other states in search of job to feed their loved one back home. In other hand begging the Vote from Muslims to enjoy the POWER & LUXURY!!! SHAMELESS CREATURES!!!!!!

    Hahaha good joke.
There are two things... India's one vote doesn't matter for US or Israel.
The same way minority Muslims vote doesn't matter for BJP...

I think India voted against US only to please oil rich Muslim countries.. That's all 😆

    BJP always did this..

    1. BJP never said Muslims have first right on the resources of India
    2. BJP always told Article 370 differentiate between 2 sections and hence to be removed
    3. BJP always said either keep all religious places under Muzrai or keep all the religious places outside.
    4. BJP always said UNIFORM CIVIL CODE.

BJP is the only party which do not differentiate between Indians.
BJP is now trying to fill the gap, which definitely make those at elevated side (minorities) to worry.
